Summer sundowners or special events, Zack’s Barn is a venue quite unlike any other, where gorgeous rustic charm meets top-notch tasty dining in a seriously special location. There is loads of space, with big tables inside and out, a fully licensed bar and open kitchen, so you can watch our chefs at work perfecting your pizzas and burgers while you enjoy a lovely, relaxed atmosphere all round. We serve hot drinks too, plus the best sweet waffles!
Live music & events
Throughout the Summer
Zack’s – named after our beloved farm collie – is open every Friday and Saturday evening from May to the end of September, with a calendar of live music and events serving up something for everyone. It can also be booked for private hire – from children’s parties to corporate events, all catered for by the Hilltop team using the best local produce.
Dog friendly (in honour, of course, of Zack himself), there’s plenty of space for children to unwind as well, with our play area and friendly farm animals close by.

Just across from our Farm Shop & Café and our Hilltop Hideaways glamping site, Zack’s is a really popular spot amongst our regulars and those holidaying with us, serving up legendary sunsets and unforgettable summer nights. So, if you don’t want to leave, you can always book in and stay!

Zack’s is the perfect event venue if you are looking for a relaxed space with heaps of room, a stunning location and tasty, local food. From private parties to business meetings, or children’s birthdays to weddings. For exclusive use of our lovely barn, please see prices and options as set out below, and we’re here to help with any enquiries. You can also bring your party to Zack’s during our usual opening hours, without exclusive use, but it’s best to get in touch ahead so we can make sure we can accommodate you on your chosen date!

An exciting new event on the Hilltop calendar, come along and see our Big Machines on Sunday 11th May. You’ll be able to climb on board our tractors, sprayer and combine - to explore, pose for photos - and pretend to drive of course!
