To manage waste, minimising the value of stock thrown away whilst ensuring that food safety and quality is not compromised.
To work with the Head Chef to make sure that we have the optimum amount of stock on site, so that we can always meet customers orders.
To work with the Team to ensure our menus are compliant with food safety legislation.
To work with the Team to ensure that the kitchen is maintained to a high standard of hygiene at all times and that it always complies with food safety legislation.
To work with the Team to ensure compliance with EHO visits and we achieve a 5/5 rating at our next spot visit.
To lead by example with regards to hygiene standards set, ensuring the Team are always clear on what needs to be done and best practice is followed.
You will need to supervise, motivate and manage the Kitchen Team at all levels.
Work closely with the Head Chef to keep morale high and make the kitchen a good place to work.
