We are looking for people to join our Front of House Team who have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. If you are a great team player, if you love working with people and you have customer service experience, then this role could be perfect for you!
This is a full-time role, 5 days a week, and includes weekends. A typical day is 9am-5pm, so you still get your evenings!
Responsibilities
Customer service:
To welcome customers into the café and ensure they can find a table and have the correct menus available for service.
To take customers orders at the table and ensure that the correct communication about each order is delivered to each relevant department, so drinks/food can be produced as required
To make customer drinks and deliver them to their table.
To deliver food from the kitchen to the customer’s table when the Kitchen Team request it is taken.
To ensure the customer is happy with their food and to check in if they would like anything else during service.
To ensure communication between customers and Kitchen Team is correct and keep Kitchen Team informed about any specific customer requirements.
To report any complaints on the food/service to the Kitchen Team Leader and the Café Manager during that shift.
To ensure that the customer has the right cutlery on the table.
To be friendly and helpful towards our customers, keeping in mind that you play a key role in the customer’s impression of the business.
Hygiene:
To clear tables and sanitise so we can ensure we are always covid safe.
To ensure work stations are kept to a good level of hygiene throughout the shift.
To take glasses to the prep room and wash as required.
To help the Kitchen Porter take crockery, cutlery back to designated areas.
To sweep floors at the end of every shift in café and café bar.
To always follow best practice hygiene rules whilst at work.
To clean toilets at the end of each shift.
Waste management:
To unload trays as they come into the kitchen and to ensure that waste is disposed of as per procedure.
To minimise food waste throughout the shift, always recording any waste in the waste book.
About you
You will have a passion to work with customers and deliver excellent service to everyone who visits Hilltop Farm
You will have a minimum 1 years’ experience working in a Front of House Team
You will be highly-motivated, enthusiastic and energetic with a sunny personality
You will have the ability to work well under pressure and keep your cool
Can work well within a Team
Are well organised with excellent time management
