2020 has been quite a year, so as we look ahead to Christmas, we are really pleased to launch our lovely Christmas lunchtime set-menu to bring some much needed extra sparkle and Christmas cheer to December!

Our menu is packed full of locally sourced ingredients and we will be serving it up every lunchtime from 30th November (excluding Sunday’s) for pre-booked tables.  Bookings numbers must of course comply with current Government covid-19 guidelines.


Spicy roasted parsnip soup

with freshly baked bread & butter.

Ham hock terrin

with homemade piccalilli & brioche toast.

Smoked mackerel pâte

with fresh coriander leaf & lemon with toasted ciabatta.

Root vegetable terrine (VE)

with a spicy  tomato chutney & toasted ciabatta.


Warwickshire roast turkey with sage & cranberry stuffing

served with Hilltop Farm chipolatas, seasonal vegetables, goose fat roasties & red wine gravy.

Locally sourced wild venison casserole

with spiced red cabbage, creamy mash, seasonal veg & redcurrant port jus.

Smoked haddock rissole

with a soft boiled egg, butternut squash velouté & seasonal veg.

Roasted goats cheese & Mediterranean wellington (VE on request)

with seasonal veg.


Traditional Christmas pudding

with brandy sauce.

Crème brûlée

with zesty orange shortbread.

Gooey chocolate brownie

with Christmas pudding ice-cream.

A selection of local cheeses with biscuits (+£2.50 supplement)

served with grapes, celery & chutney.
