Our beef is Hereford x Aberdeen Angus. Always free range and traditionally reared on old permanent pastures mostly in the leam valley. We made a decision over 15 years ago following the first outbreak of BSE, not to buy in any foodstuffs to feed our animals on. Our animals now fed purely on home-grown produce. This consists of mainly barley, oats, wheat and or peas and beans for protein with some chopped straw. The carcasses are hung for between 21 and 28 days to ensure our meat is succulent and full of flavour. Our method produces tender, flavoursome, juicy beef.
